For most of this year we have been looking at what life in God's kingdom looks like. For the next 6 weeks we will be having a break from the Kingdom Life series and starting a new one called "Why do we...?" In this series we will be having a simple look at why we do what we do. We love the thought that as a church we are united in the Gospel and our mission. Before Jesus went was crucified He had prayed in John 17:11, "Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are." The unity of God's people is essential and so we are doing this series the help the church in being united on some of the basic expressions of our faith.
Over the next 6 weeks we will be looking at the following subjects:
- Why do we meet on Sundays?
- Why do we meet in Life Groups?
- Why do we preach?
- Why do we sing?
- Why do we give?
- Why do we do weird stuff?
It is our hope and prayer that this will help us as a church to be united and equipped in a greater way for the mission that we have been called to! We're looking forward to great things!
